What Happened on the Field?
When the final bell blew, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel approached his opponent Antonio Conte and shook his hand. But, as soon as Tuchel completed the handshake, the encounter became heated, with both managers approaching and confronting one another. Tuchel shook Conte’s hand without looking at the Chelsea manager, which looked to irritate Conte.

Both managers were confronted each other and had to be parted by players from both teams. Conte and Tuchel were both shown red cards by the ref. Conte had squared up to Tuchel earlier in the game, when Spurs had equalized the score at 1-1. As a result, both managers were booked.
Conte, who took over at Spurs in the midst of last season, previously led Chelsea, where he won the Premier League championship in 2016-17.
