Khiladi Kumar is known as one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. Every year he comes up with a new project and announces several films one after the other. The sequel to Akshay Kumar’s much-anticipated film, “OMG 2,” was just unveiled. Paresh Rawal, who previously appeared alongside Akshay on film, has been replaced by actor Pankaj Tripathi.
The movie will be released on the 11th of August, 2023. It has been cleared through the film posters released by actors on their respective social media handles. OMG’s first part had a significant influence on the audience, that’s why fans have been anticipating the movie’s sequel for so long.
Role of Akshay Kumar in the Film
Recently, Akshay Kumar posted a photo on his Instagram account that revealed his character. The character of Akshay in the movie may be inferred from the way he appears on the poster. He may be seen on the poster putting ashes to his forehead, donning a Rudraksha Mala, and bunning his braids. On his forehead, the third eye’s texture can be seen. In addition, his neck’s skin tone is blue, giving the impression that he is representing Lord Shiva.
However, Akshay is seen looking upwards. This makes it obvious that Akshay, who had previously played Shri Krishna, would appear in OMG 2 as Neelkanth, Jatadhari Bholenath. Take a glance at the poster below-
Star Cast of the Film ‘OMG 2’
Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam Dheer are also sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar in this sequel. URI fame actress shares a post on her social media handle with a caption- “Meet Kamini Maheshwari, OMG2 In theaters August 11. Teaser drops soon”. In this post, it is visible that she will portray a character of an Advocate.
Pankaj Tripathi, however, will portray the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal. In his look, He had a tilak on his forehead, which gave off the impression that the man belongs to religious leanings.
The film directed by Amit Rai also featured Arun Govil and Govind Namdev in significant roles. As per the reports, Arun Govil would portray Lord Ram in the upcoming film. OMG 2 and Sunny Deol’s much-awaited Gadar 2 will both clash in the theatres on the weekend of Independence Day.
