On Monday, Angus Cloud, best known for his role in the drama series Euphoria, died. He was 25 and portrayed drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in the TV series. The cause of death has not been revealed yet.

His family indicated that the actor had been trying to deal with his father’s recent death and was facing mental health concerns.

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” Angus Cloud’s publicist said in a statement.

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” an excerpt from the statement said, according to AFP.

Angus Cloud’s Euphoria co-stars and members of the film and television business paid tribute to the late actor on social media.

Javon Walton, who played Angus Cloud’s onscreen brother Ashtray in both roles in Euphoria, uploaded a throwback photo on Instagram with the caption, “Rest easy brother.”

Javon Walton shared another experience with Angus on his Instagram account, writing, “Forever family.”

In tribute to the actor, the official Twitter handle of the TV programme Euphoria tweeted, “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”


Storm Reid, who portrays Zendaya’s onscreen sister Gia Bennett in Euphoria, posted a clip from the show that featured Angus’ character Fez and captioned it, “The tears just won’t stop.”

Rachel Zegler, the star of Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, remarked on Twitter, “Please remember how loved you are. This world is so quick to make you feel otherwise. There are reasons to stick around. And this world needs you. Oh, Angus. we celebrate you.”

In a statement, Angus Cloud’s family stated, “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss,” the family wrote in a statement.
